What do all the events this weekend have in common? They are all happening in springtime! It’s finally this spring, so lets all give it a warm welcome by bringing on the burger bash, vintage collectibles, latest devices, and top it off with maple syrup.

1. Make some room in those bellies! It’s Burger Bash Week and a great opportunity to get out a sample those yummy burgers around town while contributing to Feed Nova Scotia. SO go check out the burger line-up (yum) and make some plans with the fam.

2. The Spring Vintage Show is taking place at the Light House Arts Centre this weekend. Over 2 days jammed full of the best collections of housewares, jewelry, clothing, furniture, toys and so much more! RSVP for insider info! A portion of proceeds from the door will be donated to the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre.

3. Coding for Kids at the Apple Store in Halifax Shopping Centre, Sunday 12-1. Kids 10 and up are invited to code and design an app using the About Me playground. They’ll use Swift code to customize their app with fun fonts, background colours, Memoji, and more. Devices will be provided.

4. Ross Farm Museum is extra sweet and road trip worthy this weekend! All day long on Saturday and Sunday you can sample maple syrup and pancakes, learn about the process of tapping trees, collect sap, and boil it over an outdoor fire. Enjoy a sweet day at the museum with the kiddos!
