March Break is in full swing and Urban Parent has found some of the best to-do’s in HRM! Whether your pants are square or fit for a sailor, you prefer shopping or reading, Halifax’s got something for you to top off your March break.
1. SpongeBob the Musical is hitting the stage this weekend at Neptune Theatre. Based on the beloved animated comedy series SpongeBob Square Pants, this performance features incredible original music by world-renowned musicians and is sure to bring a smile to your child’s face. 2. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic hosts a super-duper March Break that the entire family will love. Adventures at Sea, running March 11-19, 10-4 and Sundays 1-4. Sail away on a journey with your crewmates and answer questions that will guide you through the museum spaces. 3. The Halifax Shopping Centre is celebrating March Break in a big way with free activities that the whole family can enjoy. Thursday is Pac-Man & Popsicles and Friday you can shop with a superhero!
4. There’s lots to do at the Halifax Public Libraries, including puppet shows, movies, games, crafts, mad science demos and tons more but it doesn’t have to March Break to enjoy these family friendly happenings. The Libraries host these all year round!
