1. Running until December 19th, Evergreen Festival is a 4-week-long outdoor winter showcase of Nova Scotian culture in Downtown Halifax. Take in the food, spirits, craft, art, and memorable experiences to celebrate and embrace the essence of the season and create a festive feeling of celebration! 2. Family Fest is back and running til December 31 with tons of fun for all your friends and family! There’s interactive games, bouncy castles, VR pods and more! Head to the Halifax Forum for this unique holiday experience. All tickets are $15, except for littles 2 and under, they are FREE.

3. Brainfreeze! Have you ever done a polar bear plunge? This Saturday at 10, smash through the icy water at Black Rock Beach, Point Pleasant Park and help raise money to support youth mental health initiatives. 

4. Neptune Theatres Family Series has Halifax feeling fabulously festive! Head to Neptune on Argyle St. for Dickens’ A Christmas Carol – running til December 30 – A heartwarming holiday classic for the whole family. The Dickens’ classic is brought to life once again in this hilarious and haunted holiday experience. If you’ve never seen this story about redemption, charity, and the true spirit of Christmas live, this season is the time! Tickets start at $38.
