Soar to new heights and join the fun at the 6th Annual East Coast Kite Festival! Grab your family and friends and head to the Garrison Grounds at Citadel Hill, July 6 & 7, starting at 11 AM. This FREE event promises a sky full of excitement, with dazzling displays of big inflatable kites and charming little ones, all thanks to the Atlantic Kite Festival Society volunteers and passionate kite fliers.
Feast your eyes and your taste buds! Enjoy a variety of food trucks and vendors serving up mouth-watering treats, face & balloon painting, kite craft workshops and lessons. Let the kids bounce around in a bouncy castle and browse through an array of over 50 unique kites, including cool rings, frogs, and pandas!
And here’s a fun fact to ponder: Kite flying is a beloved activity across countless cultures. Can you think of one that doesn’t fly kites? Come celebrate this universal joy with us and let your spirit take flight!
