How is your Halifax Holiday Hustle hanging? Are you ready for all the bright lights? Need a craft fair hot tip?
1. This Sunday is the Annual Tanatallon Holiday Craft Market at Shining Waters Marine, 148 Nautical Way in Upper Tantallon, if you’re out that way. Enjoy lots of local crafts and goodies from 10-3. Admission is a non-perishable food item or a nominal donation to the local food bank.
2. Warm up to Winter at the Annual Christmas Craft Fair at Cole Harbour Heritage Farm on Saturday. The Heritage Farm Christmas craft show is moving outdoors this year. There will be lots of local hand-made goods and when you are finished shopping, warm up by the fire with festive drinks and snacks. 471 Poplar Drive, 11-3!
3. Urban Parent loves the Annual Saltwire Holiday Parade of Lights! Bring the family Downtown Halifax this Saturday at 6 to kick off your holiday season with festive floats, marching bands, dancers, and a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus! Ho! Ho! Ho!
4. Meet up at Dewolf Park this Sunday at 5:45 for the Light Up Bedford Parade! This special tradition for many families in Bedford and surrounding communities brings the community together for a festive evening to jumpstart the holidays and raise money for a charitable organization in HRM. The Bedford Volunteer Fire Fighters will be collecting letters to Santa! Make sure you add Santa’s Address and your kids address to the letter!
