We want you to get HUFFY, take a hike, support a wiener and get funky!

1. The Halifax Urban Folk Festival (HUFF) runs all week, ending Saturday. Here’s to hoping you can make some plans to take in a concert or two. 2. Friday at 10, hike the treasured wetlands with a 2km trek with Ducks Unlimited for Wetland Discovery Day. Learn all about this unique ecological habitat with local experts, interactive family activities, art show by local eco artist Gwen Frankton. All ages are welcome and it’s FREE!

3. The Atlantic Canadian Dachshund Rescue is hosting a Wiener Walk, Sunday at 10:30 at Dewolf Park in Bedford. It’s a public event, so if you don’t have your very own darling Dachshund, maybe you just want to hang with those cute little sausages. 

4. Apparently, the Halifax Exhibition Centre has been hosting The Funkiest Flea Market in Halifax and we didn’t know! Every Sunday from 9-3, 200 Prospect Rd in Halifax. There’s a $3 admission, buy your ticket online or pay at the door. A group pays $10. We may even head there just to see how funky this market is.
