It’s that holiday hustle…

The holidays in Halifax keep on hustling and we have week 3 of our 2021 guide to the highlights of the holiday season!

1. Hanging out in the Hydrostone Friday night is fine by us! Celebrate the Annual Hydrostone Tree Lighting at 5:30 with refreshments, music and, of course, Santa! Purchase raffle tickets on site for a chance to win a gift basket of local goodies! *This year Veith House is kindly asking for cash donations/gift cards and will be collecting for families in need at the tree lighting.

2. The Lights of Dartmouth is a FREE night in Downtown Dartmouth full of family fun. Gather your friends and family and view the spectacular light displays in Downtown Dartmouth! This program has been designed to allow families to comfortably stroll Downtown Dartmouth with the ability to social distance while celebrating the festive season. Check it out once darkness falls on Saturday from 5:30-730.

3. Running until December 19th, Evergreen Festival is a 4-week-long outdoor winter showcase of Nova Scotian culture, food, spirits, craft, art, and memorable experiences to celebrate and embrace the essence of the season and create a festive feeling of celebration! This weekend brings talented musicians to the Evergreen stage, 1549 Lower Water St. Check out the schedule of events and get your tickets!

4. You don’t wish to miss Breakfast with Santa this Saturday! From 8-10:30am the Beaver Bank Kansas Community Centre is hosting a very yummy pancake breakfast with a very special guest. Bring your letter for Santa and tell him what’s on your wish list! Ticket’s $5 per person, call 902-865-5114.
