1. The Diwali Gala Night 2021, “Spreading of Light”, at the Dalhousie, McInnes Room, will light up this weekend! Beginning on Saturday at 4:30 until 10. The Hindu New Year brings rich Indian culture, food, art, music, and dance to be enjoyed by young and old alike. Tickets prices include entry to the event and delicious food. VIP $50, Non-Student $35, and Student & kids over 2 $20.
2. Celebrate Spooktacular Science this weekend at The Discovery Centre! Calling all witches, heroes, and globlins to a scary good time! Stop by in the morning at 9 or afternoon at 1 for spooky activities. Costumes encouraged! Spooktacular Science activities are included with the purchase of admission.|
3. Walk with the ghosts of Halifax past! Slip into the shadows of the Halifax Citadel and come find out if the many legends of ghost hauntings are true, if you dare! Public Ghost Tours are offered every Friday and Saturday evenings starting this weekend! Tours begin at 8:30p.m. at the front entrance kiosk. Online ticket sales close at 4:00 pm on the day of the ghost tour. Tickets are $17.03/person.

Established in 1990, The Halifax Ghost Walk is the oldest Ghost Walk in North America. Walk through the historic streets of Halifax at night with spooky stories of ghosts, pirates, hauntings, buried treasures, and other mysterious things from our city’s rich past. Approx. 2 hours with multiple dates until the end of October. Meet at the Old Town Clock on Citadel Hill at 8:30. Adults $20, seniors and students $15, kids under 10 are FREE!
4. If you want to brave the freakiest and most popular Haunted House in all Nova Scotia, drive no further than Kentville to Phantom’s FreakShow. On the final weekend of the scare season, Phantom welcomes victims guests on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Halloween from 7-10. In the event of long lines late at night, the Freak Show will stay open until everyone has gone through. It’s worth the wait and worth the drive, a fully immersive freaktacular experience, $15 a head.
