1. This Saturday, enjoy a beautiful musical story at the Bella Rose Arts Centre in Halifax. A Christmas Dollhouse is a musical for all ages written by Vladimir Sitnikov and Cheryl Edgett, inspired by the novel of same name by Halifax writer Richard Rudnicki. Based on a true story that took place in Nova Scotia during the 1930’s. There are 2 show times, 2pm and 7pm. Tickets can be purchased through Talent Studio Halifax.
2. Neptune Theatres Family Series has Halifax feeling fabulously festive! It’s the 18th year for Dickens’ A Christmas Carol – running till December 26 – A heartwarming holiday classic for the whole family. Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is brought to life once again in this hilarious and haunted holiday experience. If you’ve never seen this story about redemption, charity, and the true spirit of Christmas live, this season is the time!
3. Looking for last minute holiday finds? The Halifax Convention Centre is home to everything vintage this weekend. The Vintage Christmas Show features over 30 Maritime vintage and antique sellers. Admission is $5 and kids 12 & under are free. Show runs Saturday and Sunday 10 – 5.
