With beautiful weather ahead and so many family friendly events to choose from, it’s sure to be a great weekend!
1 – It’s FREE admission to a family friendly event in Cole harbour! Get ready for the second annual Cole Harbour Fibre Frolic. Vendors will be at the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum on Saturday from 11-3 and will show off a colourful market and everything that can be done with fibre—demonstrations will include spinning, weaving, felting, and knitting! There’s even a chance to meet the sheep!
2 – The 15th Annual Lebanese Cedar Festival brings the best of Lebanon and Canada together in Clayton Park for four amazing days of music, dancing, food, and fun starting on Thursday. Check out lots of world class entertainment, authentic Lebanese cuisine, musical and cultural shows, a children’s fun zone including bouncy castles, face painting, and virtual reality, mouth watering pastries, and we’re pretty sure you’ll find even more!
3 – Whoever said, “nothing in life is free” must not know about Halifax’s Curbside Giveaway weekend. It’s the perfect time to de-clutter AND get some free stuff. Rain or shine, all weekend long, across the municipality. Get out and enjoy the treasure hunt!
