This weekend is beginning to feel a lot, like… festive! We have a line-up full of plenty of craft shows as well as a sip & shop and a clothing swap.

1. Who doesn’t love a great Sip & ShopLilyPond Vintage is hosting their 6th Annual Holiday Open House. They’re serving up hot apple cider, treats, lots of fun and sales for days.

2. It’s that time of year and the Annual Christmas Craft Show at Cole Harbour Place this weekend. From 10-3 Saturday and Sunday, enjoy over 50 tables of beautiful crafted goods from local artisans. Admission is $2.

3. Tis’ the season of crafters and makers. The Nova Scotia Art and Craft Sale has a new venue this year at 111 Clayton Park Drive in Halifax. Doors open Friday at 11 and Saturday at 10. It’s FREE admission and lots of parking, so why not stop in and find that perfect gift for your bestie!

4. There’s a FREE kids’ clothing swap on Sunday from 10-12:30 at the Findlay Community Centre in Dartmouth. Such a great idea during these inflated times, right?! Baby and kids’ clothing, gear, books, toys, parenting books, nursing and maternity clothing and anything else kid-related is accepted. You can also bring maternity and nursing items, but please leave other adult clothing and household items at home. For more info click here.

5. It’s Christmas at the Forum, a holiday tradition since 1978! A festival of crafts, antiques, art, and food…with a photobooth! The entire craft show, affectionately known as “The Big One,” has been warming the hearts of thousands of visitors for 44 years! The craft fair runs all weekend, so there’s lots of time to pick a day to visit. Doors open at 10, stays open till 9 on Friday and Saturday, till 5 on Sunday. Entry fee is $10 for adults, kids under 12 are FREE.
