Your to-do list this week: The NS Tattoo, Grand Oasis, Bedford Days, and the Celtic Festival.

1 – Featuring over 2,000 world-class Canadian and international military and civilian performers, the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo continues to live up to its reputation as one of the world’s premiere cultural and entertainment events. The Tattoo strikes a unique balance, featuring pipes and drums, military and civilian bands, historic re-enactments, dancers, acrobats, choirs, military displays and competitions, drama and comedy in a fast-paced, two and half hour, family show. It’s one event you don’t want to miss!

2. Downtown Halifax has tons going on this summer. Enjoy FREE live music, dance, art, and culture in and around the Grand Parade Square at the Grand Oasis. There is seating provided but if you want to get comfy, you’re welcome to bring your own chair and a cozy blanket. The stage will be graced with fantastic artists throughout the summer! The fun all starts on Solstice, the start of Summer, June 21 as Downtown Halifax celebrates Indigenous Peoples Day.

3 – Bedford Days are here again at locations throughout Bedford including DeWolf Park and Sunnyside Mall! Fun celebrations for the whole family that extends until Canada Day. A kid’s triathlon, an extravaganza that hosts live mermaids, live music, outdoor movies and Glow’s Fun Land are just a few of the things to check out.

4 – The Lighthouse Arts Centre, at 1800 Argyle St., Halifax, is hosting The Halifax Celtic Festival, June 22nd to the 24th.
