- The Mystic Market is back! For the second year running, Spirit of the Bay – Mystic Market will be offering psychic and/or medium readings alongside spiritual and/or mystic products that embrace the metaphysical world. Admission is by free will donation as this event supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Night the Light Walk. Experience an uplifting day suitable for the whole family. If you haven’t already sensed this week’s Urban Parent Telepathic Message, the Mystic Market will be held at Shining Waters on Nautical Way (on the way to Peggy’s Cove on the Tantallon Side) on Sunday from 10-4.
- Keep your kids active by signing up for a Complimentary 60-Minute Sportball Class at Stevens Road United Baptist Church in Dartmouth. This clinic is for kids 6-8, it’s free, and spots are filling up fast! Register through Eventbrite Have fun, make a friend, and master those important fundamental sports skills! This fun hour on Saturday evening starting at 5:15 is for the kids only, parents don’t even need to stay in the gym space. - Toddler not sleeping? Get you to a meeting! Join Good Night Sleep Site and a group of supportive parents in similar situations at BuyBuyBaby on 209 Chain Lake Drive in Bayers Lake to discuss issues about what to do to help prevent or stop things from getting out of control. Sleep Issues – The Toddler and Beyond… is on Saturday at 10. There is no charge to attend but please register through Eventbrite.
- This weekend, how about some model airplanes? Then get to Shearwater Aviation Museum outside of Dartmouth past the old Imperial Oil Refinery on 242 Warrior Avenue. The 20th Annual Spring Hobby Show is on Saturday and Sunday from 10-4 and features everything aviator from radio-controlled models to amazing LEGO displays. General admission is $5.00 per person or $12.00 per family of four.
