So much going on this Saturday! How to plan for this one…!?
- Colours, dance, and music! Spread love and joy at the Halifax Colour Festival this Saturday from 12-5! Tug-o-War, Beat the Beans, try your skills with family friendly games for a chance to take home prizes! No outside colours will be allowed as a safety precaution. General admission is $17 and kids under 5 are free!
- Calling all Mud lovers! Mud Hero has a kid’s edition now! Pack up some old runners and head a little north of Truro to Debert! Kids between ages 4 and 12 can experience the legendary Mud Hero fun with downsized versions of adult obstacles. Balance beams, teeter totters, walls, tunnels, and more! Heats start at 10am and kid’s registration is $30.
- It’s a free celebration of furry friends at the Pondside Amphitheatre at Dartmouth Crossing! Fluffy and Family’s Fantastic Day Out is on Saturday and runs from 12-4. Inflatables, food, local animal rescue organizations, adoptable animals are sure to equal a great time! Leashed and well behaved pets are welcome!
- Wrap up the summer in a big way with a Gottingen Streetwide Block Party! There will be DJs, food trucks, local artisans, markets and an all-around good time! The fest starts at 6 and runs till 10. Gather the flock and check it out!
