1. Mmmm….we can already smell the delicious exotic aromas! Experience Indian culture at its finest, with food, dance, and music. Enjoy hand-crafted items, clothing, jewellery, and a display of Mandala art. Ohhhh! and one just cannot leave without a HENNA tattoo! Great fun for everyone and for only $2 entrance fee! This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday opening at 11 at the Forum.
2. It’s going to be a great day to explore the Atlantic Canada Aviation Museum! Join in on the Annual Wings n’ Wheels, Saturday, from 10 to 4. Fly over to 20 Sky Blvd, close to the Halifax Stanfield Airport for a jumbo jet full of free… FREE Admission! FREE BBQ! FREE refreshments! Face painting, games, and prizes for kids of all ages too!
3. The Northern Lights Lantern Festival is an evening of fun and creativity for all ages! Celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of Halifax’s North End at Merv Sullivan Park this Saturday! It’s a free community event! Everyone is welcome! Bring your water bottle and get ready to enjoy a free community barbecue! PS: There’s pony rides, lantern making, live entertainment and lots more! The fun starts at 5 and ends with fireworks at 10.
4. Nothing spells FUN like bouncy castles, a petting zoo, face painting and popcorn! From 10-1 this Sunday, enjoy an exciting morning at Victoria Park, Spring Garden Road at SGABA’s 6th Annual Children’s Festival! Check out 20+ vendor booths, watch science experiments, and groove to live entertainment! This event is free but families are encouraged to bring along a donation for the Children’s Wish Foundation.
5. Spend your Sunday at the BEACH! Use your hands, shovels, and pails to sculpt your masterpiece! The 2018 Clam Harbour Sandcastle Competition will bring tons of sand and family fun! Entry is $10 for adults/teams 19+ and kids are FREE!
