1. The Prismatic Arts Festival is a national, multidisciplinary arts festival that showcases and celebrates innovative work by Indigenous artists and artists of colour across Canada with performances and masterclasses of boundary-pushing new works in theatre, dance, music, film, visual arts, media arts, and spoken word. It runs September 26-October 9 in various locations around Halifax and we’re lucky to have it! See a full schedule of events here.
2. Calling all collectors of vintage toys! The Nova Scotia Collector Con is this Saturday, 11-4, at the Sackville Legion. There will be tons of toys, collectibles and pop culture super cool stuff. It’s $3 to get in and more than worth it. Can you tell we’re excited?
3. Join Sole Sisters Race to celebrate their 10th Anniversary on Saturday. Everyone is invited to join the 5K tutu optional fun run this fall. Have some fun, get some exercise, and put on a tutu! There’s still time to register: https://solesistersrace.com
