Cap off your week with a great nighttime market, take in a mural or three, and feel the rest of the weekend’s fresh and colourful tones and vibes!

1. Stop by the North-by-Night Market pop-up party this Friday, 7-10, at The Local Restaurant and Bar (back patio). Enjoy the atmosphere of the hip North End with live music, food, local artisans, and family activities. It will be an all-around good time!

2. Be sure to catch the Halifax Mural Festival before it ends this weekend. Talented artists have producing murals on Quinpool Road and the Halifax Waterfront over the past week bringing colour to iconic public spaces. On Saturday, Quinpool Road will be hosting free activities, buskers, music and more from 11-3.

3. TD Halifax Jazz Festival is live and in person! They have a fantastic line up this weekend with FREE Concerts at the Main Stage with the Mellowtones and Reeny Smith at 7pm, the Hydrostone Park, 12-3, both Saturday and Sunday, the Ferry Terminal Park 10-1 on Saturday.

4. Celebrate with Pride that kids these days have the freedom to be whoever they want to be! There’s tons to see and plenty to participate in during the 10-day event. Take a dance class, a DIY tye dye workshop, or take in a few main stage shows. Join in the tradition of commemoration and celebration! There’s so much going on, it would be bananas to list it all, so check out their schedule of events!
