Glow Halifax

Halifax Glow Gardens

Trust us when we tell you this is a Holidays 2019 must see and do with the kiddos—Glow Gardens, with its 85,000 square feet of lights will dazzle the eyes, ears, and spirit. Enter over a magical bridge into a land of sparkling wonder, a lit-up introduction of what glows ahead. This is a family-friendly indoor wonderland experience so enchanted if your socks aren’t knocked off by the time you’re through, your socks are obviously a size too small.

Glow Gardens features… lit up ornaments so big you can go IN them. Futuristic hopscotch that when you jump on the circles, they flipping change colour. A train! A train! A train! A train with a name: Glen the Glow-comotive! A scavenger hunt—a real life chance to help save Santa. Glowing swings. They change colour too. A playground. There’s a licenced bar. Yes, you read that right. Oh, it gets better, seasonal drinks are served in lightbulbs and there’s live music and it’s fantastic.

If your child asks, are there treats there? You can heartily say yes, there are, some of the most delicious holiday fare from the best vendors you will find in HRM.

There is a price tag on this one, $65.99 for a family pass (2 adults, 3 children), but take it from us, we’ve been there, and we want to go back and laugh, stroll, and play under the twinkle of a million lights. An experience this special is well worth the price of admission. Glow Gardens stays lit at Halifax Exhibition Centre at 200 Prospect Road until January 4th, they are open most weekdays from 4-10 and weekends from 1-10.

Real reviews from local parents:

Our family had a great time at Glow Halifax. It was my first time there. Very great place for kids.  So much to see and do. The music was great. If you needed your picture taken one of the staff would step in and take your picture for you. They were really nice. A very happy friendly atmosphere.

We loved the glow gardens! If you have the opportunity to go, I 100% recommend it! There’s so much to do and see and many photo opportunities to be had. The kids space was awesome for adults too! 😉

It was really fun! The kids had a blast. So many things and lights to see. There was the train, icicles to run through, hopscotch that changed colours, bouncy moose, a play area. And then of course all the lights and areas to take photos and cool tube of lights to walk through. We walked around a few times and I saw different things each time. There were vendors there too. It was very different then anything we’ve gone to before. Ohhh and there was a band playing with places to sit. I’m sure I forgot to mention things.
