Weekend Wrap-Up November 1-3, 2019

1. It’s Christmas at the Forum, a holiday tradition since 1978! A festival of crafts, antiques, art, and food, and a photobooth! The entire craft show, affectionately known as “The Big One,” has been warming the hearts of thousands of visitors for 42 years! The craft fair runs all weekend, so there’s lots of time to pick a day to visit. There’s even a chance to WIN a vacation for 2, to Riviera Maya in Mexico! Doors open at 10, stays open till 9 on Friday and Saturday, till 5 on Sunday. Entry fee is $9 for adults, kids under 12 are FREE, Saturday after 5 is 2 for 1.

2. Prepare for a Harvest Hootenanny Saturday at 1. Bring your goopy old pumpkin and smash it to bits! The BiHi Park, Bottom of Bayer’s Road is where it’s at, Common Roots Urban Farm, and there is no cost to attend. There will be live music, food, warm cider and a great time with super wonderful people!

3. Get some fresh air and participate in the 6th Annual Light Up the Lake in Dartmouth November 2nd! This fun-filled evening 5K run/walk starts at the Mic Mac Aquatic Club and is an out and back route along beautiful Lake Banook. Headlamps, hot chocolate, and medals for all! There is even a FIREWORKS finale!! A great event for any ability and any age. Show up early at the Mic Mac Aquatic Club, the run starts at 6:30. Register through the Running Room as an individual, team, or family!

4. Join Cineplex on Saturday morning at 11am for Cineplex Family Favourites. This week you can watch The Angry Birds Movie 2 for only $2.99! It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy the weekend with your family! Check out the Cineplex Family Favourites, they have really great movies playing the month of November!
