Babies’ bellies, Rubik’s, soccer, and a kid’s day coming your way, Haligonians!

1 – Hey families, is your baby ready to start solids? Join Heather Barnes, RD, Friday at 10:30, online to learn everything you need to know about getting ready to feed your baby safely. There is no one size fits all meal plan for babies! Signs of readiness, snacks, meal ideas and baby led weaning are just a few of the topics being covered along with a chance to ask those burning questions. $20 fee per person which includes 60 min class, Q&A period, handouts and resources, and registration is required.

2 – Join the Discovery Centre this Saturday at 9 as they say goodbye to their featured exhibit, Beyond Rubik’s Cube! There will be classic games to play, additional floor programming, and your last opportunity to see Denzo, the sassy cube-solving robot. Don’t miss your chance to experience Beyond Rubik’s Cube one last time!

3 – Spend the afternoon at Freeman’s on Quinpool on Sunday from 1 to 3 and catch the HFX Wanderers game! Freeman’s has a great kids menu and a great selection for Mom and Dad!

4. The Turtleback in Fall River is happy to make September 8th, KIDS Day! Kids eat FREE when they dine with an adult from noon until 9! That’s right, when you dine from their delicious menu your child will get to choose a FREE meal from the kids menu.
