October brings some fall feelin’ fun!

1. Mark your calendars for Farm Fest 2021! Starting at 5 on Saturday, join the Cole Harbour Farm Museum for a fundraiser dance and party; enjoy a swing dancing lesson with Dal Kings Swing and fantastic live music performances in the farmyard! North Brewing will be on site to provide your favourite drinks and food will be on sale from Rose & Kettle Tearoom’s takeout window! It’s going to be a blast! Tickets for youth 6-18 are $10, adults $15 and are available on the farm’s website: https://coleharbourfarmmuseum.ca/product-category/events/ or at the farm gift shop. During the day on Saturday, there will also be free activities for the whole family from 11-3, as well as live demonstrations from local artisans!

2. Halifax’s best Vintage Show is back with uniquely curated vintage and antiques from some of the region’s best sellers! RSVP for previews and details on how to shop with style and sustainability in the heart of downtown Halifax at Rogers Square this Saturday. The outdoor accessible venue provides a comfortable open-air shopping environment with a roof overhead! Win win! The sale runs Saturday 10-6 and $5 admission.

3. The Mobile Food Market offers a great selection of fresh, affordable fruits, vegetables, dried goods, and bread for customers to browse and purchase. 4. Itching for outdoor adventure? Noggins Corner Farm Market has the remedy. Their gigantic cornfield maze is open this weekend 9-6. Located in the Annapolis Valley on Hwy #1 in Greenwich just outside of Wolfville. They have a large corn maze and outdoor play area with a HUGE farmers market that has just opened.
