Urban Parent has rounded up some great events this weekend! You can even stay in your pyjamas if you want!
1. Tighten up those laces this weekend but leave your pyjamas on! Sunday funday brings us the third annual PJ Walk for Kids in support of Ronald McDonald House! This pledge-based fundraiser helps allow families with sick children to stay together and near the medical care they need. You’ll start with a Pancake Breakfast, talks with a local Ronald McDonald House family, a walk in your PJs, family friendly activities, and a visit at the Teddy Bear Clinic! It’s $15 to register or $20 for a family. The fun-filled morning starts at 9:30 at the North Common in Halifax. Enter code URBAN for 50% off registration!
2. The IWK Auxiliary’s KERMESSE Children’s Fair https://www.facebook.com/events/2194256974148237/ will take place at the IWK Health Centre this Saturday from 10-3. Enjoy the flea market, art gallery, and the fun things to do and see inside the IWK! Register for free through Eventbrite.
3. Who doesn’t love a great bargain? Shop the Spring 2019 Mega Kids Event. Head to the BMO Soccer Center in Clayton Park at 210 Thomas Raddal Dr this weekend! They have loads of clothing, toys, furniture, infant items at 50-90% off! One stop shop! Check out their site for more info.
4. This Sunday at noon at the Jerry Lawrence Provincial Park (4775 St. Margaret’s bay Rd. Upper Tantallon), the Five Bridges Wilderness Heritage Trust is hosting May Fair in the Park!
