Let the sun shine! Urban Parent will be rollin’, cleanin’, dancin’ and singin’ this weekend!

Plus, stop in the Discovery Centre for a full day of activities focused on shoreline pollution prevention with special guests including Parks Canada and Stop Trashing It.
3. On Saturday evening at 7, Special Olympics Halifax is hosting their annual Spring Dance for athletes, families, and friends at 6903 Mumford Rd in Halifax! It’s totally FREE! Enjoy music by DJ Rock and Special Olympics Athlete, Josh Woodbury, refreshments, and prizes!
4. How could we get away with talking about all this free-ness without mentioning Freeman’s? Well, they’re having live music at their Quinpool location on Sunday at 2. There is no admission to see Travis Hatcher. Hey here’s an idea: help with the shoreline clean up, then head to Freeman’s Quinpool for milkshakes, pizza, and music!
