1. Water Lantern Festival is filled with fun, happiness, hope, and great memories that you’ll cherish for a lifetime. This is a family friendly event that can be shared by everyone. Friends, families, neighbours, and lots of people that you haven’t met can come together to create a peaceful, memorable experience. Tickets are $34 for adults, $16 for kids (8-14), and 7 and under are FREE.
2. Calling all T-birds and Pink Ladies! Pack up the lawn chairs, blankets, and family! The Public Gardens are hosting the classic movie Grease this Saturday night under the stars! FIN Outdoor movie starts at dusk, scheduled for 9 pm. Use the main gate, dress for the weather and please bring a donation for Feed Nova Scotia.
3. Fly as high as you can and join in on the fun at the East Coast Kite Festival! Bring your family and friends! Kite flying lovers unite at Citadel Hill, Saturday at 10am! At this FREE event, enjoy over 40 kite displays, food trucks and vendors, bouncy castle, face painting, and workshops!
4. It’s the 5th Annual Food Truck Rally at the Hubbards Barn and Community Park this Saturday! The Hubbards Barn Association has partnered with the Nova Scotia Food Truck Association to bring the food truck craze to the Barn once again! Enjoy a bite to eat and catch some live entertainment by John Cole Porter. Admission is $2 and the rally starts at 4.
