Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle this weekend, take in a symphony, or enjoy the South Shore!

Kids get ready to Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle your way over to the Halifax Exhibition Centre! Everyone’s favourite Australian entertainers are performing at this Friday! Tickets are $45, there are 3 show times, 12:30, 3:30 and 6:30, and of course The Wiggles will feature some of their most loved songs!

Be aMAZEd! Canada’s first art maze and it’s pretty much located in your backyard! You will feel like you’ve be taken into a different world. Submerge and get lost in a magical space full of fantasy. With every inch you’ll discover something new and every rock hides its own idea. The walls tell stories and even though you’ll lose yourself inside, you’re never alone. Admission for families is $35, adults $12, kids 3-12 $7 and kids under 3 are FREE! From Halifax: Hwy 103, take Exit 11 into Blockhouse. At 4-way-stop turn right towards Bridgewater. You’ll find the BernArt maze after 3 kms on your right. Civic # 1136, Hwy 325.

Each year the town of Mahone Bay comes to life with over 250 hand-made, life-size scarecrows. From the traditional to a scarecrow version of the Royal Family, there is something for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the scarecrows, the festival is home to the largest antiques show in the Maritimes featuring the east coast’s most respected dealers. Other highlights include children’s activities and crafts, musical entertainment, historic graveyard tours, book sales, BBQs, yard sales, and a quilt jamboree. The festival kicks off on Friday morning when all the Scarecrows are officially on display and the festivities last all weekend!

It’s 11th annual Symphony Week, followed by the nationwide arts celebration, Culture Days! Symphony Nova Scotia is offering free, live performances that will include everything from children’s music to orchestral concerts featuring the entire Symphony. Head to Halifax Central Library on Sunday at 1:30 or 3:00, and enjoy this wonderful musical gift!
