Argh Matey! Check out this weekends’ family friendly happenings!

1 – The Village Shops at Dartmouth Crossing present… Drive Ins Under the Stars! Pack up the family Friday night for a special drive-in presentation of Disney’s Aladdin! This event is free to attend. You must have a ticket for your vehicle – this ticket is good for as many people as your vehicle can legally hold. Covid-19 measures are in effect. 2 – Head to the Mad Hatters Market at the Spryfield Rink on Sunday at 9. What is a Mad Hatter Market? It is a craft sale – yard sale – bake sale – brewed locally sale – there are tons of vendors, you name it and the market probably has it. Bring some cash, family and friends, support cats in HRM, and enjoy a morning of shopping, fun, and bargains. You just might see some Mad Hats too!  Donations will go to Spay Day HRM and their programs. 

3 – Head to Lake Echo for some great family fun in the sun! It’s the first ever Family Country Fair. Enjoy carnival games, a Chili contest and prizes for all! To top it off, admission is FREE! You will be able to purchase snacks from the canteen and contestant’s delicious chili. If you think you got what it takes to be Lake Echo’s best chili in town, join in and compete for bragging rights and a GRAND PRIZE! 4 – Ahoy me hearties! Ye be invited to sail away and set a course for the Discovery Centre for some pirate-themed science this Saturday starting at 9. Craft a ship and fill it with as much loot as you can – will it sink to the bottom? Hunt for hidden treasures and even discover some tricks of the eye! Click here for tickets!
