This weekend, get the jump on the holidays by heading to a holiday craft exhibition!
1. The Christmas Craft Village starts Friday at noon and has over 150 exhibitors with a little something for everyone! It’s three days of fun with great local food and handmade goods. Find ideal gifts from hand-knit/hand-sewn treasures, wood items, ornaments, delectable baking and preserves, and so much more. Admission covers your family for the entire weekend. Adults are $10, students and seniors get in for $9, and kids 12 and under are FREE! You’ll also get admission to The Guy Show! Join in on the fun at the Halifax Exhibition Centre!
2. If you think that handmade and homespun are the most important ingredients for creating a magical Holiday season, then you’ll be excited for the weekend-long Saltscapes Harvest Greets the Holidays! Sample tempting treats from Select Nova Scotia farms and be inspired by Taste of Nova Scotia family-owned businesses and great local chefs and meet gardening guru, Jodi DeLong and food editor, Kilted Chef Alain Bossé. Tickets are $9.50 and you can get them here.
3. Beavercreek Winery is hosting their 3rd Annual Christmas Craft Show in Lawrencetown on Saturday at 10. You’ll find unique crafts from Silver Moon Alpacas, Rustic Paper Designs, Fundy Charm Sea Glass and so many more. If you’re in the neighbourhood or up for a little road trip, pop by! You never know what you may find.
4. It’s a Winter Wonderland Extravaganza at Cole Harbour Place at 51 Forest Hills Parkway on Saturday and Sunday. There will be over 55 local crafters with a beautiful array of handmade crafts. Doors open at 10.
